What are the check in/out times?
Check out by 11:00 am and check in after 2:00pm. The check in time may be flexible if the apartment was not booked the night before or if the previous visitors leave early. Please contact us shortly prior to your visit to arrange the possibility of an early check in. There is a surcharge of 40 pln for checkins after 10 pm which should be paid to the representative who meets you at the apartment.
What if I am arriving late?
We do have a small surcharge of 40 pln for guests arriving between10:00 pm and 08:00 am which should be paid to the representative who meets you at the apartment. Unfortunately we are currently unable to cater for checkins between the hours of 01:30 am and 06:00 am
If I do not depart until the evening, is there anywhere I can leave my bags?
Yes, we will be happy for you to leave your bags at our office located at Ul Napoleona Cybulskiego 2
Is the price for the entire apartment, or per person?
The price is per apartment up to the amount of people it is convenient for. If the apartment can accommodate additional people, for example with the use of a sofa bed, an additional 40 pln (approx 10 Euros) will be charged per additional person. This will be accounted for and displayed in the displayed price.
Are cots and high chairs provided?
Yes we are able to provide cots and high chairs. There is a small surcharge of 40 pln (approx 10 Euros) per night for a cot and 20 pln (approx 5 Euros) per night for a high chair. Together the charge is 50 pln (approx 12.5 Euros) per night. Please inform us in advance if you require these items or select them when booking online.
Where can I park my car?
Some of our apartments do have either secure parking, nearby secure parking or street parking the details of which are specified under the details page of each apartment. You can also search for apartments with parking using our advanced search or contact our reservation staff for further information about apartments with parking.
What currencies can I pay in and how can I pay?
Payments must be made in Pln using cash or credit card or bank transfer. In certain circumstances we may accept payments in other currencies. All bank transfers must be paid for by the sender.
Is breakfast provided in the price?
We do not provide breakfast, however, almost all our apartments have kitchens and we will be happy to recommend a restaurant to you in which you can buy an inexpensive and filling breakfast.
Are the apartments secure?
Our apartments are all new, or modernized and renovated and of high standard in terms of security. If security is of a particular concern, please contact our reservation staff for further information about apartments with security. Some of our apartments do have a 24hr concierge and you are able to search for these apartments using the advanced search feature. This information is also displayed in the details page of each apartment.
Do the apartments have telephones?
Some of our apartments are supplied with land line telephones from which you are able to make local calls. Please use our advanced search feature to search for such apartments or contact our reservation staff who will be able to help.
Do the apartments have internet?
Some of our apartments are equipped with broadband wifi internet. You can see which apartment have internet by looking for the wifi logo on the details page or alternatively use our advanced search and you can search specifically for apartments with internet.
What is included in the apartment price?
You will be provided with fresh linen and towels, and naturally the apartment will be cleaned prior to your visit. Krakow Apartments are designed to be self contained for the Krakow's short break holiday maker, or for the short term business rental, meaning that everything you will need for a short term stay should be present in the apartment ( like hairdryer, iron, ironing board, toaster, - all there). If you want to be sure please check the amenities details specific to the apartment you intend to rent for the list of the facilities.
Where are the apartments located in Krakow?
All our apartments are located within a 10 minutes walk of Krakow's market square. Please view our search by location page which shows the location of each apartment in Krakow.
Do the apartments have lifts?
Some of our apartments do have lifts. Please contact our reservation staff for further information about apartments with lifts. You can also search for apartments with lifts using our advanced search feature. This information is also displayed in the details page of each apartment.
What happens if I accidentally damage the short let apartment?
AAA Apartments will charge for any major damage to our properties or the breakage of any significant items during your visit. Charges will be made in a fair manner to put right the damage, or to replace the broken object. Charges will be made to your credit card if you have booked using one.
Can I bring a pet?
No, sorry, we have a no pets policy on request of our apartment owners.
Can I reserve an airport pick up?
Yes. We co-operate with a local reliable transfer company who will be able to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your apartment

How do I get from Krakow Balice airport to the city centre?
Taxi - costs around 50 pln (12.50 Euros) taxis leave from just outside the main doors of the airport. Transfer time approx 20 mins. This is the easiest way.
Train - costs 6 pln (approx 1.5 Euros) travel time is approx 15 mins and the trains leave every 30 mins. Take the clearly marked transfer bus from outside the front of the airport to the train stop which is only a few hundred meters away. Train arrives in Krakow's main station which is about 10 mins walk from the main square.
Bus - cost 2.5 pln (approx 0.5 Euros). There are two busses the 192 and the 208. The 192 is best for the city centre and stops along the side of the Planty (the park which surrounds the old city). Travel time is approx 35 mins. Ticket can be bought with the driver although you may also have to pay for your bag.
How do I get from Katowice Airport to Krakow?
If you are arriving at Katowice airport via Wizz Air, there is a bus service laid on by the airline that meets each arriving flight. You can either book tickets in advance through Wizz Air, or normally they will allow you to buy a ticket on boarding the bus. The price is approx 50 pln.
How long does it take to get from the airport to Krakow's city centre?
If you fly into Krakow's closest airport, Balice, it will only take 20 mins by taxi, or 35 mins by bus. For Katowice, allow approx 1.5 hours for the bus or under an hour by car.
What is the process for reserving, booking and paying for and apartment rental?
AAA Apartments preferred method of payment is to simply confirm your booking immediately by paying a 25% booking deposit using our online credit card booking system.
If you would prefer to make an online reservation of one of our apartments, with the intention of paying for your booking by credit card over the phone, or by using alternative payment methods, your reservation will be held for 3 days for you to confirm your booking, after which the reservation will automatically be removed from our system.
For last minute bookings within 5 days of your arrival we require immediate payment of the 25% deposit.
Do I get a booking reference number?
Once you booking or reservation has been made, you will receive a booking reference number which you will need for any correspondence with AAA Krakow Apartments.
Additionally an email will be dispatched automatically detailing your booking or reservation which will contain all the information that you will need on your arrival in Krakow, such as directions and contact numbers. This email should be printed for safe keeping and brought with you on your trip to Poland.
How do I check in to my apartment?
Within approximately 1 hour of your arrival at the apartment, please call or text our representative on the contact numbers provided on your receipt, so that we can meet you at the apartment.
Normally check in time is after 2.00 pm, however, if you contact us in advance, there may be the opportunity of an early check in. You will be required to pay the balance of the rental fee on arrival at the apartment. Please remember that you should pay a surcharge of 40 pln to the representative who meets you if you check in after 10 pm.
When does my reservation become a confirmed booking?
Your reservation becomes a confirmed booking once we have received acknowledgement of your payment.
How do I cancel my booking and are there any charges associated with cancellations?

How often are the apartments cleaned?
The apartments are cleaned before your arrival and weekly during your stay if you visit for more than one week. Typically your apartment will be cleaned between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm to avoid any inconvenience. You will not need to be present in the apartment while it is being cleaned.
What languages do we speak at AAA Krakow Apartments?
English and Polish.
Can I get a discount for longer bookings?
Most apartments offer a discounted rate for bookings of one week or more, in addition to last minute discounts. If you wish to make a medium or longer term rental, please give us a call or email us and we will be happy to negotiate a rate with you.
What happens if I lose a set of keys?
A fixed amount of 100 Pln (approx 25 Euros) will be charged for every set of keys lost to cover the cost of their replacement. This will be deducted automatically in the case of credit card bookings or will be deducted from the Damage deposit in the case of the forms of payment.
Can I smoke in the apartments?
Our apartments are strictly non-smoking and a spring cleaning charge will be incurred for guests smoke in the apartments. Some of our apartments have balconies where it is possible to smoke.
